Our achievements

During the last 20 years  works on development and creation of chemical power supply sources and technologies of their manufacturing, as well as efforts in the field of standalone power supply systems  have been conducted by the experts who now work at ISIC «WESTA».

• ISIC «WESTA»  employees have been awarded by the Government of Ukraine a State Prize in the field of science and techniques, for completing the works on the «Creation of a scientifically-industrial complex on manufacturing of lead-acid storage batteries».

• Public Company «WESTA-Dnepr» became the winner of the regional  for «the Best employer of 2006» among the companies with the staff from 101 up to 500 people

•  ISIC «WESTA» and Public company «WESTA-Dnepr»  awarded with the following awards:
• Award for participation in «Colorful Ukraine» exhibitions;
• Diploma of «The best domestic goods manufacturer of 2006»;
• Special Diploma for storage batteries with capacity 60 Ah, 100 Ah and 200 Ah;
• Diploma for participation in all-Ukrainian competition – «Inventions – 2006»;
• Diplomas of the International Association «INTERBAT» for participation in the international exhibitions – «Autonomous Chemical Power Supply Sources».

• participating in the exhibition «Colorful Ukraine»  batteries under the trade mark «WESTA» with capacity of 60, 100 and 200 Ah were awarded a Diploma and a Medal «The best Domestic Product of  2010».

• ISIC «WESTA»   was given a title   «The  best producer of domestic goods of     2010» and was awarded «Golden Symbol of the competition».

•  more than 50 scientific works have been published based on the materials of the specified researches as:
• development of standalone power supply systems with use of storage batteries for high-speed vehicles with magnetic levitation;
• development and improvement of storage batteries for the vehicles equipped with the internal-combustion engines;
• development of the integrated power supply systems equipped with solar batteries and wind turbines, as well as the design and production of maintenance-free sealed storage batteries.

• new technical and technological innovations used while starter storage batteries manufacturing are defended by 70  patents of Ukraine and Russian Federation. ISIC«WESTA»  employees are  high-class professionals among whom there are 9 Doctors of science  and 18 Candidates of science.
